Prayer Points 4th May - 10th May 2026
Monday 4th May
Hope Church Coatbridge
We have been vacant since November 2024. We have had excellent supply but are very conscious of the need for our own minister and pray that the Lord would provide a man of His choosing for us. It is tough being an Interim Moderator, with extra work and travel. Pray please for ours, the Rev. Tom Penman, minister at Cumbernauld, that he would know God's blessing and encouragement in all that he does.
Tuesday 5th May
Matt and Maria, Greece
Please pray that we would be able to have many Jesus centered conversations with the other parents we are meeting locally in playgrounds and making contacts with, and for fruit to come from that.
Wednesday 6th May
Board of Ministry
Please pray for the Free Church MiTs, both those who are finishing their training this year and those continuing their studies next session. We pray that those who are seeking a call will be settled quickly into their new setting.
Thursday 7th May
Hope Church Coatbridge
Please pray that all those associated with the congregation would seek to honour God in all aspects of their lives.
Friday 8th May
ETS
Give thanks for the Awards Ceremony taking place today on the 8th of May, and for students from all our programmes who will be receiving awards.
Saturday 9th May
Matt and Maria, Greece
Please remember our students from the language schools and for sincere spiritual embracing of the gospel.
Sunday 10th May
Hope Church Coatbridge
We provide each week a toddler group and a community cafe. We ask for prayer that these events would be a means of introducing our neighbours to the Lord Jesus Christ. Once a month a few of our members engage in street evangelism in Coatbridge town centre. Please pray that those contacted would respond to the Gospel literature and invitations to worship given out.
