This Week

Quite a number of the Psalms that David wrote reflect particular circumstances he was in, and this is one: he is being pursued by Saul and feigns insanity before King Achish to escape. He says, "I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces" (Psalms 34:4-5 NLT). We may feel we're going insane through circumstances, but prayer remains the go-to for us all.

Tuesday 18th September 
Please do remember the Board of Ministry as we meet today on Zoom at 10am. Pray for wisdom, vision and discernment in all that is discussed at the meeting. 

Wednesday 20th September
CBS meets on Zoom at 7pm to look at Lesson 9 in our studies of 1 Samuel 

Thursday 21st September
Please pray for me as I have a Coaching Session with a young minister on Zoom today. Pray for openess and for the Spirit to move powerully and clearly. 
Prayer meeting in Trish and Robert's at 2pm.  

Sunday 24th September 
Tune in to 2LR at 8am for Sunday Light, a compilation of the week's 'First Light' recordings, plus music and a Reflection on a Rural Reality by Colin. 
The services in Gairloch are at 11am, taken by A Renton (myself and Jessie are giving a talk on Compassion International at Kiltarlity FC) and 5pm and Kinlochewe at 2.30pm.
