This Week

As the day begins and the week ahead stretches out, my prayer is that of Paul for the Christians in Ephesus, when he said, "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being"
(Ephesians 3:16). May we all know the powerful presence of the Spirit of the Lord in all we say and do this week. 

The weekly notices  are as follows

Monday 28th August 

Tune in to 2LR at 7.22am for First Light Bible reading every Monday to Friday, and then at 8pm you can watch a daily vodcast on our Facebook Page presented by Stuart Smith and myself from Monday through to Saturday.

Tuesday 29th August 
Presbytery meets on Zoom at 10am. Let us pray the Lord will bring clarity, conviction and contentment with every decision that is made on that day, and in relation to my Call from Lochcarron and Applecross to be their Minister. 

Wednesday 30th August

Ladies' bible study meets today at 1pm in the Manse for a farewell lunch with Elspeth SMith.  

CBS on Zoom at 7pm continuing our study in John's Gospel, looking at Lesson 8

Thursday 31st August

Prayer meeting in Edwin and Mary Ann's at 2pm.   

​Sunday 3rd September 

Tune in to 2LR at 8am for Sunday Light, a compilation of the week's 'First Light' recordings, plus music and a Reflection on a Rural Reality by Colin. 
The services in Gairloch at 11am and 5pm and the 3pm Service in Strathburn House will be taken by Colin
