What's On This Week - 23rd February 2020

Sunday:

• 11am:  Gairloch
• 2.30pm: Kinlochewe
• 5pm: Gairloch

Sunday Club and Creche takes place today, during the morning service.
Tea and Coffee served after the morning service.
Denominational Prayer Focus is for Maryburgh and Kilearnan, and Hope Church, Blackwood and Kirkmuirhill.
Why not stay behind after the evening service tonight, sing some hymns and psalms and have a cuppa and company together as well?  We start at 6pm and finish by 7pm.

Tuesday
Bible Study in Edwin and Mary Ann’s house at 7pm.  Looking at the Shield of Faith (Eph 6:16)

• What are the Flaming Arrows of Satan?  Satan Assaults Job (Job 1-2), Accuses Joshua (Zech 3), and Attacks Jesus (Matt 4:1-11, Matt 16:21-28
• What is the Shield of Faith?  Faith in God’s Person (Gen 15:1; Psalm 3:3, 28:7), God’s Promises (1 Cor 13:13, 2 Peter 2:9), and God’s Providence (Rom 8:28)

 
Wednesday
Together For Christ Mission Meeting with Colin and Melissa Piper (World Evangelical Alliance) at 7.30pm, in Gairloch Church of Scotland Hall.  Our own midweek meeting is cancelled for that night.
 
Sunday
Service in Gairloch at 11am led by Gideon’s UK Representatives, followed by our monthly soup and pudding lunch.  If you can provide a pudding and/or help with washing dishes, please speak to Jessie. 
 
Strathburn Care Home Service  at 3.45pm and Evening Service in Gairloch at 5pm.

Blythswood Foodbank :
For February : Cartons of long life juice; small washing powder/gel; tins of corned beef; tins of ham; jam – any other items also welcome. Please use the box at the door as usual.  Thank you.
