What's On This Week - 31st March 2019

Sunday:
  • 11am: Gairloch
  • 2.30pm: Torridon
  • 5pm: Gairloch
Sunday Club, Bible Class & Creche takes place today, during the morning service.  All children leave after the 2nd singing. 
Tea, Coffee & Fellowship after the morning service.  All welcome.
Denominational Prayer Focus is on Lennoxton and Fort William and Kilmonavaig.
Fellowship in the Manse after the evening service.  All Welcome.

  • Prayer Meeting in Kinlochewe Free Church on Tuesday at 11am.  All welcome.
  • Poolewe Market Cafe : Karen Farquhar will be running the Poolewe Market Cafe from 10am until 2pm on Tuesday 2nd April.  She will be raising funds for Maria’s (proposed) trip to Malawi, in aid of Tearfund.  Pop along for some Soup, a hot filled roll, some tea, coffee and homebaking.
  • Congregational Meeting : The Kirk Session are calling a Congregational Meeting on Wednesday 3rd April at 7pm for the purpose of seeking approval from the congregation to sell the Manse with a view to purchasing another house locally.  Also, the AGM will take place.  The Annual Accounts will be made available and will need to be approved. 
  • Kirk Session meets on Thursday at 7pm.
  • Fundraising Soup & Pudding Lunch with Homebaking Sale : Saturday 6th April – 12 noon until 2pm.  All donations received will go towards the Urquhart Family’s Edinburgh Marathon Festival Running events, taking place in May, for the charity SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity).  Contact Pam for further information.  All welcome.
  • Soup and Pudding Lunch : After the morning service on Sunday 7th April.  Please add your name to the sheet on the table in the Fellowship area if you plan to attend and speak to Jessie if you can provide a pudding.  All very welcome.
  • Services Next Sunday - Gairloch 11am and 5pm. 
  • Blythswood Care – Highland Foodbank  Appeal - Items requested for this appeal: tins of ham – big or small; packets of cream crackers; oatcakes; diluting juice; Smash [dried potato mash]. Any other items continue to be welcome. Please place items in the box near the door. These donations help to provide 3 days of emergency food & support to people in crisis. Thank you.
  • Church Walk : On Tuesday 9th April the monthly walk is along Loch Maree shore and the old road [about 3 miles].  Meet at Golf Course Car Park, opposite G'loch Church of Scotland at 10 am.
