What's On This Week - 9th June 2019

Sunday:
  • 11am:  Gairloch
  • 2.30pm:  Torridon
  • 5pm:  Gairloch
Sunday Club, Bible Class & Creche takes place today, during the morning service.  Children leave after the 2nd singing. 
Tea and Coffee served after the morning service.  All welcome.
Fellowship in the Manse after the evening service.  All welcome.
Loop System is in the Church to assist those with hearing aids.
Denominational Prayer  Focus is on Dowanvale and Rogart Free Churches WfM Mobilising for Mission 2019-2020.  Flyers are on table.

TUESDAY :
  • Fruitfulness on The Front Line in Pam’s house in Kinlochewe on Tuesday at 7.30pm, looking at Ministering Grace and Love.  All welcome to attend.
 
WEDNESDAY :
  • Interactive Bible Study : in Gairloch on Wednesday at 7pm, looking at follow up questions on pages 44-46 of the CE Booklet, Mark 11:1-13:37.  All welcome.
 
SUNDAY :
  • Gairloch 11am and 5pm, and Kinlochewe at 2.30pm.  At the end of the morning service next week we will hear how the Sunday Club and Bible Class has been getting on over the last term, and the young folk will receive a book.

Advance Notices :
  • There will be a Communion Service in Poolewe Free Church on Sunday 23rd June at 5pm, and we are invited to attend.  There will be no evening service in Gairloch that evening.  The preacher will be Rev Dan Paterson.
 
 
Other Items :
  • Cleaning Rota : It would be great to have new volunteers to come onto the church cleaning rota.  If you want to know what being on the rota entails, please speak to Kenny.  Many thanks to those who are on the rota already and to those who have added their names recently.
  • Blythswood: Following a very successful lunch in Gairloch Community Hall on 31st May, the fantastic sum of £1000 has been sent to Blythswood Care. Thanks to everyone who gave time, effort and money to make this possible.
  • Recorded Sermons can be accessed either by requesting a CD (forms in the fellowship area) or by connecting through the website http://www.gktfreechurch.com and clicking on Listen Again.
  • Blythswood Care – Highland Foodbank : Items requested for April to July: tins of ham [big or small]; diluting juice; packets of Smash [dried potato mash]; washing powder [small]; men’s deodorant. Any other items continue to be welcome.  Blythswood Foodbank Admin comments, “Without church help, we could not feed people in crisis”. Please place items in the box near the door. Thank you.
